With inherent design and production expertise, we have been increasingly involved with the manufacture of Precision Engineering components, such as those required by Formula 1, Medical, Food R&D, Prosthetics and many other industries.

The ability to machine complex 3D shapes in various materials, such as aluminium, titanium, and hardened steels up to 60 hrc, has made A.F.Gaskin ideally suited to this progressive industry.

Our investment in a 'state-of-the-art' Deckel Maho DMU 80P five-axis machining centre to compliment existing Matsurra high speed milling machines is already helping to reduce lead times. Using five-axis technology, even the most complex components can be produced in a 'one hit' approach thus eliminating the need for multiple set-ups, and providing price, delivery and quality advantages.

Delcam PowerINSPECT software is used on our Kemco digitiser to check components and electrodes to customer supplied data, ensuring we maintain the quality and accuracy that is needed in our high technology industry.

If requested, comprehensive inspection reports can be supplied on job completion, which can reduce the need for ISIR drawings and spreadsheets to be produced at customer expense.
